We have two speakers for November: Rich Goodwin will give a talk about using PKI(public key infrastructure) in practical sense, how to get a key and using it in an office environment; Rich Rognlie will give a talk about the SPF(sender policy framework) and how that extends SMTP giving it an ability to help weed out bad email origins by checking DKIM(domain keys identified mail) through DNS. Between the two speakers the talks will cover current trends and technologies for both point to point digital trust establishment and a more general backbone level of trusted sender filtering.
